You are able to connect your guitar to your computer and start playing and recording your music. You can also use the amps and pedals that are included in the kit to enhance the sound of your guitar.

After you have connected the electric guitar, you should select the source for the song that you want to record. You can also turn on the monitoring, if you wish. It is important that you monitor yourself and take part in this project. You will be allowed to only play the part that you want to record, and you cannot play any other parts of the project.

  • On GarageBand for Mac, choose the audio track that you would like to play.
  • Click on the button called ‘Smart controls’.
  • When you connect your guitar to the computer’s audio input port, select the input that is built-in.
  • If the built-in input menu doesn’t show, go to GarageBand > Preferences, click audio/MIDI, and choose built-in input from the pop-up menu.
  • When your guitar is connected to a USB port, you should select the microphone for that occasion.
  • When you connect your guitar to a computer, select the channel number of the microphone.
  • Make sure that the input files are in the same format as the output. If you are playing monophonic, choose a mono input (with one channel), or a stereo input (with two channels). If you want to change how the input is formatted, click on the button to the left of the input menu.
  • You can control the level of the sound. You can do this by sliding the slider.
