So, enable a region to be selected on the track. To do that, select the region tab, and enable follow tempo & pitch. If you do that, the transpose slider will become grayed out.
Some pre-recorded audio files do not have a transpose slider that works reliably.
If all else fails, you can create a loop from the audio file. Select the track that you want to insert and type the command “file: add region to loop library”.
Set the key and the tempo of the loop, name the loop, and save it.
Put your loop browsing track in a new track and delete your old track. By utilizing the search field in the loop browser, you will be able to quickly find the loop.
